Impact 16:15 is a Christian organization based in Manitoba. We create, support and promote events that bring people together, encourage faith and create opportunities to share the Gospel.
Our work begins with a simple purpose: to make Christ known and serve communities through gatherings that mean more than entertainment alone.
About Impact 16:15
Why 16:15?
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
— Mark 16:15
These words of Jesus are the foundation of our name and our mission.
Our gatherings welcome people exploring faith and encourage those already following Christ. We hope the connections formed lead to lasting relationships with Christian communities where people can continue to grow in faith.
Above all, our desire is that God is glorified and people come to know Christ.
“I want them to know who Christ is.”
— Bhryden Doherty, Founder
How It Started
Founded by Bhryden Doherty, Impact 16:15 grew out of community outreach and Christian gatherings, including Hunger for Holiness nights. As the work developed, so did the desire to bring supporters and partners together around a sustainable ministry.
Formerly known as Fun with Family Day Festival, the festival now carries the name Impact 16:15. This free, family-oriented festival in Portage la Prairie brings together Christian artists, family activities and community, with opportunities to encourage faith and share the Gospel.
Bhryden has heard directly from families who could not otherwise afford to attend. Their experiences reinforce our commitment to keeping events free or affordable wherever possible, so cost does not stand in the way of taking part.
Beginning in Manitoba. Looking Across Canada.
Our work is currently focused in Manitoba, but our vision reaches from coast to coast.
We want to create, support and promote Gospel-centred events in communities across Canada, both large and small. That means building relationships with artists, churches, ministries, businesses and individuals who share the mission.
We are looking for partners with a genuine heart for people, a commitment to their Christian faith and a desire to make Christ known.
